Experience
I am passionate about doing something practical to help people reduce their carbon emissions.
I started my career as an engineer in the industrial sector. About 15 years ago I realised we had to radically change our approach and moved into the renewable energy sector.
The renewables sector was quite ‘fringe’ then and difficult to incorporate into building designs. This is where I knew I could help.
Better buildings
So I now focus on helping architects, developers and self-builders design better houses and buildings. Helping them to think about all aspects of a sustainable design right from the start.
Energy efficiency
My engineering background has led to energy auditing. I can appreciate how hard it is to evaluate energy efficiency ideas when you are busy running a business or school.
I enjoy putting myself in the client’s shoes and thinking how to design and prioritise the best solutions. I want to make it easy for you to make changes and be happy with your project outcomes.
