Retrofit Low Energy Bungalow Conversion

The bungalow conversion with a new dayroom extension and spacious upstairs was designed by Rob Barnes from LED Architects Ltd.

Retrofit low energy bungalow conversion

Leading Energy supported the architect with multiple SAP energy assessments to ensure that the house achieved the best possible EPC SAP energy rating. We also supported the design with retrofit insulation solutions, full house MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery) system, careful attention to designing out thermal bridging, air source heat pump for heating and hot water, choice of underfloor heating and maximising Photovoltaics for electricity generation.

The product choices are always more complicated in a retrofit situation due to space and budget constraints.

If you have a retrofit or new build project in mind we can work as part of your design team with your architect or developer to deliver the best possible low energy house for your budget.

We offer a fixed fee package for peace of mind.
